Safety Consultant (as needed)

CORE Safety Group is a nationwide safety management and loss control consulting firm. We are currently seeking experienced safety professionals for occasional OSHA-based safety training and auditing projects on an as-needed basis throughout the region.
Location: Memphis, TN
This is a contract (1099) position with flexible scheduling — a great fit for individuals who are semi-retired, consulting independently, or seeking supplemental work. Only take opportunities that fit your schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site safety audits for construction and general industry clients
- Deliver OSHA 10/30-hour training and other safety courses
- Identify safety hazards and help implement corrective actions
- Support clients with safety documentation (JHAs, safety plans, etc.)
- Maintain professionalism while representing CORE Safety Group on-site
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of safety experience
- OSHA 500 or 501 preferred
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910 standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
