The Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist will ensure that all patients receive quality and compassionate healthcare and will collaborate closely with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient experiences. In this position, your responsibilities include entering patient data into files, maintaining a database of records, scheduling appointments for patients, answering phone calls, speaking with patients to gather necessary medical information, coordinate referrals for patient testing and to other healthcare providers as needed and providing administrative support. Assist patients throughout the day as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Experience:- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
