Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team WHO WILL TRAVEL FAR (MAX PAY OF $65 IS RESERVED FOR THIS PERSON; DISTANCE IS 30 TO 50 MILES OUTSIDE OF METRO TUCSON AS WELL AS WITHIN). As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide exceptional patient care and support in the patient's home. Responsibilities:
- Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for continued care at home
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with various physical therapy techniques and modalities
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills:
- Excellent patient care skills
- Proficient in occupational health practices
- Knowledge of trigger point therapy
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
