Summary:
The Safety & DOT Administrator is responsible for implementing Safety and DOT programs and policies within the organization to ensure compliance with health, safety, and DOT regulations. The Safety & DOT Administrator will work closely with management and employees to ensure regulatory compliance, identify potential hazards, mitigate risks, and foster a safe working environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintain company Safety & DOT platforms
- Upload and track employee safety training certifications.
- Set up weekly safety meetings in Safety platform.
- File all incident reporting in safety platform.
- Maintain Safety & DOT compliance processes and programs
- Maintain DOT driver qualification files for all DOT Drivers
- Review and Audit driver logbooks for all CDL Drivers.
- Keep driver list current (monthly).
- Review pull notice reports for driver compliance and upload to DOT software.
- File proper Hazardous Material information.
- Assist in development and maintenance of safety programs, policies, and procedures
- New Hire Safety and DOT set up
- Set up new hires in Safety & DOT platforms.
- Assign required training.
- Send required DOT new hire information.
- Complete DOT new hire process.
- Complete Safety pre-qualifications and DOT reporting
- Assist VP Safety & Compliance in completion of safety pre-quals.
- Prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies as required.
- Maintain company D&A program
- Update and manage D & A rosters.
- Complete third-party D&A audits.
- Send out D&A random testing and monitor for completion.
Qualification Requirements:
- High School diploma, GED equivalent. Experience in Safety and DOT administration
Required Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and with written skills with customers and employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, word, excel, outlook, and database systems.
- Must have organizational skills and be detail oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and platforms.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, set goals, and accomplish responsibilities.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently for long periods without direct supervision.
