What You'll Do
As a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation of fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential Multi-Family Facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, standpipe, and fire pump systems.
- Diagnose system deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Repair sprinkler system components, including valves, piping, heads, risers, and related equipment.
- Conduct flow tests, trip tests, and acceptance testing in accordance with NFPA standards.
- Complete detailed inspection and service reports using mobile technology.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers and management.
- Maintain compliance with NFPA, OSHA, state, and local codes.
- Participate in emergency service calls and on-call rotations as needed.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in excellent condition.
- Mentor apprentices and junior technicians when applicable.
What Makes You a Strong Candidate
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of fire sprinkler inspection, service, or installation experience.
- Strong knowledge of water-based fire protection systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
- Experience reading blueprints and construction drawings.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage service schedules.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in mechanical spaces and elevated environments.
Preferred Qualification
- NICET Certification (Level I, II, or higher).
- Nevada State sprinkler license, G-card.
- Fire pump experience.
- Experience with inspection software and mobile reporting platforms.
- Leadership or mentoring experience.
