A manufacturing company in Greenville, SC is seeking a Corporate Safety Coordinator to provide essential administrative and operational support to the safety department. This role is responsible for managing workers’ compensation claims, maintaining compliance records, coordinating safety-related programs, and supporting company-wide safety initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with all company and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities:
- File and manage workers’ compensation and auto accident claims within the RisxFacs system
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records for all workers’ compensation claims, including reports, medical documentation, wage records, and related correspondence
- Serve as the primary liaison between workers’ compensation adjusters and internal Safety Managers to ensure timely resolution of inquiries and issues
- Track and maintain a calendar of all workers’ compensation-related activities, including appointments, deadlines, and required follow-ups
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable to request and process payments for settled claims
- Coordinate auto insurance estimates and facilitate vehicle repairs with employees involved in motor vehicle accidents
- Maintain OSHA 300 Logs, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with annual posting requirements
- Support the organization and maintenance of safety documentation and regulatory records
- Develop and distribute company safety newsletters and communications to promote a strong safety culture
- Coordinate annual audiometric testing (audiograms), including scheduling, tracking follow-ups, and maintaining records
- Maintain safety metrics dashboards and assist in the preparation of safety performance reports
- Manage contractor and customer safety prequalification platforms, including Avetta, ISNetworld, and similar systems
- Assist with management, distribution, and revision control of Corporate Best Management Practices (BMPs) and other safety-related documentation
- Provide administrative support for safety initiatives, reporting, and ongoing departmental projects
- Adhere to all company policies as well as OSHA rules and regulations, promoting a safe and compliant work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in safety, risk management, or HR
- Experience with workers’ compensation claims management and reporting systems (e.g., RisxFacs) preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping requirements (OSHA 300 logs) is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with dashboards or reporting tools is beneficial
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
