We are seeking a
QA Automation Engineer to support testing and validation of customer-facing applications. This role focuses on building scalable automation, improving test coverage, and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.
This is a
12-month contract with strong potential to convert.
Location: Downtown Houston (Onsite)
Pay: $70–$85/hr
Duration: 12 months (possible conversion)
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium & Appium (C#/.NET)
- Build and enhance automation frameworks (POM, reusable components)
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
- Execute cross-browser and device testing using BrowserStack or Digital.ai
- Create and manage regression, smoke, and test plans
- Perform manual and exploratory testing as needed
- Identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and support root-cause analysis
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver & Appium using C#/.NET
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD environments
- Familiarity with BrowserStack or Digital.ai
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and test planning
- Experience supporting external/customer-facing applications
Nice to Have
- API testing experience (RestSharp, HttpClient)
- Experience with SpecFlow / BDD frameworks
- Exposure to accessibility or performance testing
