Radiology Quality Improvement Assistant

Central Illinois Radiological Associates (CIRA) is a private radiology practice with 100+ physicians providing radiology specialty services to ambulatory facilities, clinics and hospitals throughout Central Illinois. We are currently recruiting a full time onsite Quality Improvement Assistant to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

 Assists the Quality Improvement Committee and Director in planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive continuous quality improvement program.

 Participates in the quality improvement activities of the corporation. Monitors pending activities and follows up with internal and external audiences as needed.

 Assists in educating clinical providers and employees about QI processes, standards and maintains documentation.

 Collects, tracks and monitors quality data to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory standards. Communicates data and prepares routine and ad hoc reports for leadership, committees and stakeholders.

 Maintains quality related records, databases and tracking systems.

 Documents quality improvement activities and outcomes for internal and external reporting.

 Gathers data to assist in preparing clinical provider Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations, Focused Professional Practice Evaluations, and clinical performance scorecards.

 Provides administrative support for quality meetings, including agenda preparation, note taking and follow up tracking.

 Supports special projects and quality improvement initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

 Associate's Degree or equivalent; minimum of two years related experience in a medical group practice or healthcare environment or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) a plus.

 Familiarity with quality improvement processes, medical terminology and healthcare regulatory standards.

 Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service and listening skills to effectively interact with internal and external audiences through written or verbal form.

 Maintains strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

 Excellent organization and follow up skills.

 Detail oriented and ability to multitask.

 Intermediate knowledge with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and web browsers.
