Job Type: Part-time, Full-time
Work Area: Wisconsin and Minnesota
Our position primarily involves the presenting of Asbestos Certification Training programs and
Lead-Based Paint training programs in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Our courses are state and/or
federally accredited, so we are seeking candidates who are currently State and/or EPA
approved as an instructor, or can satisfy the requirements to be credentialed as an instructor.
Successful candidate will be facilitating training courses, maintaining training equipment and
supply inventories used in their courses, and involved in the updating and developing of current
and future course offerings. All members of our team are involved in the sales and marketing of
the training Lake States provides. In recent years we have developed remotely attended
versions of many of our courses. A candidate with training and experience with virtual
classrooms and facilitating remotely attended training programs would find an excellent
opportunity for presenting and updating our programs and exploring ways to offer our other
programs to remote learners. We have found an increase in requests for our training in Spanish,
so a candidate fluent in both English and Spanish would possess another benefit for our team.
This position could be part time or full time employment depending upon the training, skills,
experience and credentials a candidate presents. We also have a part time position available for
an individual that desires a less broad role with our organization. Most benefits we offer are
available to full-time team members. We respect and appreciate applicants with military
experience. If you are interested in making a difference, please respond to see if this is the
opportunity for you!
