Duties
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards on construction sites and develop mitigation strategies accordingly.
- Implement and monitor occupational health protocols to promote worker well-being and prevent injuries.
- Ensure all activities comply with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), and other applicable regulations.
- Manage workers' compensation claims efficiently by coordinating incident investigations and supporting injury prevention initiatives.
- Utilize construction management software to track safety metrics, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
- Lead safety training sessions for construction personnel, emphasizing hazard recognition, safe work practices, and emergency procedures.
- Perform regular site inspections to verify adherence to safety policies, conduct audits, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site safety management with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and compliance management practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, occupational health, and workers' compensation processes within construction environments.
- Familiarity with NEC standards relevant to electrical safety on construction sites.
- Hands-on experience with construction management software tools for safety tracking and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) principles specific to construction projects.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams, conduct audits, and liaise with regulatory agencies.
- Construction site experience is essential; prior roles in construction management or supervision are highly valued.
