Job Overview
YellowBird is seeking a qualified Safety Professional to deliver an Arc Flash & Arc Blast Awareness Training session in Ogden, UT. This is a half-day, on-site engagement designed to educate participants on electrical hazards and safe work practices.
Engagement Details
- Date: March 26, 2026
- Duration: Approximately 4 hours (half-day)
- Participants: Up to 15 attendees
- Compensation: $626 total
- Additional: Mileage reimbursement ($250 per diem offered)
Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom-style Arc Flash & Arc Blast awareness training
- Educate participants on electrical hazards and prevention strategies
- Ensure content aligns with NFPA 70E and OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart S
- Facilitate discussion and answer participant questions
- Issue Certificates of Awareness upon completion
Training Topics
- Arc flash and arc blast fundamentals (causes, risks, consequences)
- OSHA and NFPA 70E regulatory overview
- Shock vs. arc flash vs. arc blast hazards
- Incident energy and arc flash boundaries
- Hazard Risk Categories (HRC) and PPE selection
- Labeling requirements and arc flash signage
- Safe work practices (LOTO, energized work permits)
- Emergency response procedures
Qualifications
- Experience delivering electrical safety or Arc Flash training
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA standards
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to lead in-person training sessions confidently
