Maintain and oversee all programs to ensure Food Safety, Quality, and legality of products to keep plant compliant to FDA FSMA and maintain BRC Certification of the plant.
Responsible for HACCP Program and Food Safety Programs and assists on Pre-requisites Programs.
Also includes but not limited to Allergen Control, Traceability /Recall, GMP's, Pest Control, Sanitation, Environmental Monitoring, and other prerequisite programs.
Assist in training all departments to these programs and maintaining relevant documentation.
On-going monitoring and inspection to observe and enforce all programs.
Acts' as the company's preventive control Qualifier Individual (PCQI)
Education and/or work experience to know the legal and industry requirements for the bakery.
Previous bakery and compliance experience mandatory.
Experience with achieving and maintaining GFSI Certification (BRC or SQF)
Demonstrated background required in: Food Safety / HACCP /Sanitation / Pest Control / Food Defense / Internal Auditing / Vulnerability Assessment
Ability to communicate with Supervisors and other bakery personnel in all departments
Excellent verbal and written skills required.
Must be experienced in Microsoft Office, to create all required manuals and control sheets, able to learn new software programs when necessary.
