About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Director to lead, develop, and manage all aspects of our company’s safety programs. This position plays a critical role in creating a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, and promoting safe work practices throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and sustain a strong culture of safety across the organization.
- Plan, implement, and manage training programs for managers and employees on:
- Work site safety practices
- Injury and fire prevention
- Correct handling of chemicals, toxins, and equipment
- Other safety-related procedures
- Ensure organizational compliance with OSHA and all applicable safety regulations.
- Maintain Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), accident records, inspection logs, and related safety tracking reports.
- Inspections, Reporting & Incident Management
- Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field (preferred).
- Experience in safety management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable safety standards.
- Proven experience conducting safety training, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications such as CSP, CHST, OSHA 30/500, or equivalent (preferred).
