Job Requirements
- Valid, up-to-date CPR / First Aid certification
- Knowledge of safety and health procedures
- Familiarity with OSHA 1910 and 1926 construction standards
- Certification in basic rigging, trench and shore, confined space entry and rescue
- Good analytical, human relations, communication, and training skills
Preferred to have:
- OSHA 30 certification, OSHA 500, OSHA 510, CSP, CHST, COSS, CSSS, CSST, etc.
- 3 years of industrial or commercial construction field safety experience
Job Duties
- Walking job site to ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Daily site audits
- Permit writing
- Accident investigation
- Writing of safety policies and procedures
- Daily toolbox talks
- New hire site orientations
- Ensure job site meets all federal, state and local safety regulations
