Front Desk & Communications Coordinator
Grace United Methodist Church – Wilmington, DE
*Welcoming presence. Digital voice. Steady hand in the holy mess.*
Position Summary:
The Front Desk & Communications Coordinator is a hybrid role that blends in-person hospitality with behind-the-scenes communications work. This person is often the first point of contact for anyone engaging with Grace. Whether they’re walking in the door or opening the Friday Enews. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, tech-savvy, and ready to adapt to the ever-changing rhythm of church life.
Grace is a unique mix of sacred rhythms and spontaneous chaos. One minute you’re making a Canva graphic for Sunday’s slide deck, the next you’re brewing coffee for a wedding coordinator, and then pivoting to greet a neighbor who just needs a snack and a moment of dignity. We’re looking for someone who sees ministry in the margins, beauty in details, and isn’t afraid of a little holy multitasking.
