Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team for a All You Can Eat Sushi/Hibachi Restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that each dining experience is memorable and enjoyable, whether in a fine dining setting or a lively nightclub atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments through cash register systems.
- Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server in fine dining or nightclub settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help team members as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.70 - $25.00 per hour
