We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within residential or commercial spaces. This position requires a strong commitment to sanitation and customer service, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and personal items.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client requests and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to maintain the appearance of all flooring types.
- Conduct routine inspections of cleaned areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Assist with cooking and meal preparation as needed, ensuring kitchen cleanliness and organization.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the facility.
Experience
- Previous experience in residential cleaning or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Familiarity with janitorial practices and custodial duties is a plus.
- Experience in housekeeping management or hotel environments is advantageous.
- Strong skills in sanitation practices and floor care techniques are essential.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism at all times.
