We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Receptionist to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Manage front office operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and insurance verification.
- Ensure accurate health information management and maintain up-to-date medical records in compliance with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Supervise and train dental receptionists and administrative support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Oversee the scheduling of appointments to optimize patient flow and clinic efficiency.
- Implement office policies and procedures to enhance productivity while maintaining a high standard of care.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure seamless communication between clinical and administrative teams.
- Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must have experience in a dental office.
- Proven experience in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical scheduling, health information management, and customer service principles.
- Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in medical administrative support is advantageous.
