The Arkansas Rural Health Parntership (ARHP) is seeking a proactive and professional Administrative Specialist to support day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth execution of administrative processes at the Arkansas Rural Health Academy (ARHA)
Key Responsibilities
As the Administrative Specialist, you will:
- Manage and maintain student application files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing throughout the intake and enrollment process.
- Serve as a grant process liaison between ARHA activities & ARHP
- Draft, format, and manage routine correspondence, reports, form letters, logs, and financial ledgers.
- Maintain ARHA calendar for class schedules and room reservations
- Assist efforts to set up, schedule, and monitor clinical assignments between students and health care partners.
- Serve as a point of contact for providing accurate information for ARHA/ARHP efforts.
- Assist with purchasing, maintaining financial records, and monitoring expenditures.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with a strong sense of discretion, reliability, and commitment to high-quality service and confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Some limited travel may be required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant certifications preferred
- 2+ years of administrative or clerical experience in an office or academic setting
- Familiarity with public health, grants, or higher education environments is a plus
- Knowledge of:
Office record keeping and filing systems; Work-related administrative procedures and documentation; Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); Google Platform Applications (Forms, Gmail, Docs, Classroom)
