Greatway Transportation Inc is looking to hire a full time safety E-Log coordinator. We are currently running a fleet of 500 trucks and looking for a motivated and knowledgeable individual that understands how to monitor and coach drivers on proper use of ELD's.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains safety files and records.
- Audit daily Driver(s) logs for accuracy and violations.
- Audit daily driver fuel reports.
- Reviewing hours of service records for accuracy.
- Oversee and monitor roadside inspection process reports.
- Maintain roadside inspection documentation for each driver/vehicle.
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations regarding transportation and workplace safety.
- Monitoring CSA Basic Scores to address trends and driver performance.
- All other duties not listed above assigned by the Company owner.
Requirements:
- 2 years involving DOT compliance rules and regulations.
- Working knowledge of ELD tracking software.
- Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely. Listen effectively, demonstrate understanding and clarify meaning for others.
- Ability to develop, coach and mentor others.
- Ability to plan and execute safety meetings, accident reviews, and safety milestone celebrations.
- Demonstrate the ability to be a “team member”
- Computer knowledge
This is an in office position located in Romulus, MI.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
