Position Overview
The Safety Manager will provide oversight of all safety programs for construction projects in commercial construction environments. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in safety management within commercial construction, and have a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Provide safety training and education for workers.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes.
- Prepare incident reports and corrective action plans.
- Maintain safety records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years of safety management experience in commercial construction.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
