Robert R. Keller & Associates Inc., a successful service company in Manchester, NH is looking for a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to provide safety services to our family owned Manufacturing Companies – Kalwall Corporation, Structures Unlimited, Inc. & Keller Products, Inc.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate work locations for safety and environmental risks
- Conduct routine safety/environmental checks and inspections to ensure compliance standards are being met
- Develop recommendations for improvement based on observations
- Write detailed technical reports and/or compliance policies
- Provide guidance to engineering and R&D departments for new projects that may involve safety hazards or changes to environmental conditions
- Understand OSHA and EPA/NHDES regulations and determine applicability of those standards to a variety of manufacturing operations
- Manage hazardous waste programs for full quantity generators
- File environmental regulatory reports including Tier II, Form R and Title V air permit documents
- Create fall protection plans for skylight installation crews
- Develop and deliver high-quality safety and environmental training programs
- Conduct employee training on health and safety and environmental policies
- Perform accident investigations and identify root cause(s)
- Manage the Workers Compensation program
- Maintain OSHA required injury and illness reports
- Attend safety committee meetings and work with members to implement suggestions
- Provide guidance for shipping hazardous materials in compliance with DOT regulations
- Participate in regulatory inspections and respond to deficiencies
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in environmental and safety related field plus 7-10 years direct EHS experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of chemical hazards
- Thorough understanding of OSHA and EPA/NHDES regulations
- Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish would be a plus
- Acute attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable presenting training to large groups
- Demonstrate skills necessary to motivate employees to achieve safety goals and reduce accidents
- Must be able to travel between Manchester and Bow, NH
