As a Custodian, you will be responsible for executing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks that uphold our high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to keep surfaces pristine and extend their lifespan
Handle janitorial responsibilities including trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces to promote health and safety
Carry out industrial cleaning tasks in designated areas to maintain hygiene standards in more demanding environments
Operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
Support general porter duties including moving furniture or supplies as needed to facilitate building operations

Qualifications

Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning procedures
Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and carpet extraction
Prior experience in residential painting or industrial cleaning is advantageous
Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and general upkeep
Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
