About the Role

The Prairie Cross Ranches is a nationally competitive show cattle operation seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to assist with daily barn responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone with a strong interest in livestock care and the show cattle industry.

Job Responsibilities

Rinsing, blowing, and grooming show cattle
Assisting with feeding, watering, and basic cattle care
Cleaning pens, alleys, and maintaining barn cleanliness
Supporting daily routines and care schedules
Helping with show and sale preparation (as needed)

Qualifications

Experience with cattle required; show cattle experience preferred
Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions
Able to work in a team and handle physically demanding tasks
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
