Job Summary
This position is primarily focused on dishwashing and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen. In addition, you'll assist with basic baking and prep tasks, supporting our bakers as needed. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our bakery operations by assisting with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a high standard of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, utensils, trays, baking tools and equipment
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by regularly cleaning surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
Maintain trash, bathrooms, and floor cleanliness
Assist with ingredient prep (measuring, mixing, portioning, etc.)
Help bakers with task such as scooping dough, pressing bread, cutting bars, etc.
Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Support the team with other duties as needed

Experience

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, including roles such as restaurant or kitchen assistant.
Reliable, punctual and hard working.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is beneficial.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
A background in culinary arts or hotel experience will be advantageous for this role.
