Busy, concierge medical practice is looking for a detailed, experienced and knowledgeable Medical Scribe to assist our physicians with documenting patient visits. The successful applicant will be responsible for documenting accurate and detailed information of patient visits. This role also have clinical administrative duties. This is a 50% scribe role and 50% clinical admin role.

The ideal candidate will provide the highest level of accuracy and detail as well as be highly focused and productive day to day. We expect our scribes to adhere to practice protocols and processes, and effectively manage the volume of work without allowing quality to be compromised. Duties:

Transcribe patient appointments, reports and calls
Manage an average of at least two patients per hour, and a minimum of four patients per hour during peak times or two 2hr exams per day + two 1 hr calls
Accurately and completely transcribe long medical histories (3 hrs) and produce accurate, formatted, proofed patient reports per our process
Chart audits and records reviews and records preparation
Assist the Physician with fundamental patient care: order entry, medications, histories, notes, letters, etc
Visit preparation for physicians
Assist with medical admin tasks for clients: medication processing, pharmacy order processing, etc.
Assist with training of newly hired scribes

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare field preferred
2 yrs scribe experience preferred: internal medicine, family practice, or similar
Experience with medical terminology
Excellent computer skills
Impeccable verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent work ethic with perseverance and conscientiousness
Excellent bedside manner and positive, can do attitude
