We are looking to hire a part-time Safety Specialist to be based out of the Glasgow, KY area. This is a hybrid position that may require occasional travel to regional and nationwide customer sites, but will primarily be working in the Glasgow, KY area.

Qualifications

Excellent public speaking skills (required)
Degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) OR 3+ years of experience in a full-time safety role (required)
3+ years of conducting training, preferably in OSH-related topics (required)
GSP designation, ASP certification, and/or CSP certification (preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (required)
Basic computer skills (required)
Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926 standards (required)
Must be a U.S. citizen and be authorized to work in the United States (required)
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test (required)
Must have a valid U.S. driver's license (required)
Must be honest, dependable, responsible, and able to be relied upon to fulfill obligations (required)
Must live in Kentucky and within 30 miles of Glasgow, KY (required - NO PER DIEM OR RELOCATION EXPENSES PROVIDED)

Responsibilities

Conduct various OSH-related training courses at customer sites
Promote a safe and healthy workplace at all times
Create and upload training documents to the company server
Perform OSH-related audits and inspections at customer sites
Develop and/or review OSH-related written policies and procedures
Participate in company professional development activities
Be ethical and maintain the highest level of integrity at all times
Other responsible duties as required by Arrow Safety and/or customer needs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
