Job Summary
We are a family company seeking an energetic and cool-under-pressure person to assist in our Rockland County dispatch operation.

This role involves all aspects of operating a transportation terminal and is a great fit for people who don't like to be bored. Student Transportation is a busy but rewarding field, and utilizes a wide range of skillsets. Don't hesitate to stop by or call with any questions.

Duties

Ensure ongoing completion of items related to Driver/Monitor regulatory compliance
Coordinate, facilitate, and administer classes such as refreshers and basic safety courses
Maintain 19-A and SED files
Oversight and coordination of our team of 19-A examiners and their 19-A related work
Facilitate and act as liaison for 19-A audits and bus driver unit correspondences
Administrate additional company safety initiatives
Administrate and follow through on on-the-road safety incidents
Assist in the coordination of driver training with an emphasis on the trainers and training practices
Communicating necessary information regarding driver/monitor compliance and status to all relevant parties
Coordinate with HR to ensure compliance in onboarding and ongoing requirements
Communicate foreseen compliance and safety issues to relevant managers and operations staff
Assist in other day-to-day options as necessary

Qualifications

Experience in a New York State 19-A Environment
Current 19-A Examiner Certification
Current SBDI Certification
Current CDL Class B License and Active Bus Driver Status
Positive Attitude
Solid teaching and coaching skills

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
