Summit Health, Safety, and Industrial Hygiene Services (https://summithsih.com/) is hiring for a Safety Program Development Manager.

This is a 100% remote position and we expect 10-15 hours per week of support will be needed with no set work hours during the week. We will work with individuals who may have ongoing employment responsibilities elsewhere.

We will offer the right candidate $60.00 per hour for services. This position will be involved primarily with the development of Client HSE programs and will require extremely close attention to detail.

Additional responsibilities will include:

Remotely develop Client OSHA required programs (I.e., Lockout/Tagout, Emergency Action Plan, Hearing Conservation Program, Hot Work, Confined Space, etc.)
Remotely develop Client site specific safety programs and policies
Remotely audit facilities for OSHA required programs and compliance
Remotely audit Client’s current safety and health programs
OSHA regulatory compliance
Create OSHA required training programs including the use of a Learning Management System (LMS)
Participate in Client calls
Proposal creation and estimates
Coordination with other technical experts
Other safety and industrial hygiene tasks as requested

Ten years of Safety Management experience including program development is required. A master’s degree in safety and health, industrial hygiene or similar field is required. A Certified Safety Professional and/or Certified Industrial Hygienist designation is required.

Writing samples will be requested prior to hiring. We are open to work with individuals that have an LLC or wish to sub-contract or we will hire directly.
