Construction Safety Manager
We are looking for a highly motivated Construction Safety Manager with construction safety and commercial/industrial site experience. This experienced individual’s main duty is to ensure that workers are following established policies and safety regulations. A Construction Safety Representative may take on additional roles and responsibilities, but their primary job is helping to create safe construction sites. Travel is required.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Ensure that all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines are explicitly followed
- Inspect the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment
- Conduct and tracks toolbox meetings
- Safety and Equipment Training
- Reviews and approves safety plans
- Verifies that injury logs and reports are complete
- Promotes safe practices
- Enforce safety guidelines
- Establishes safety standards and policies as needed
Qualification:
- OSHA 30 Certified
- MSHA BlueCard preferred
- Experience in Construction site safety (required)
- MSHA experience
- Experience in steel erection (preferred)
- Knowledgeable in Construction Safety
- First Aid and CPR Certified
- 5 plus years of safety experience
- Certified Equipment Trainer
- Computer skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
