The Buildings and Grounds Department is seeking a Campus Safety Officer to cover two shifts for Groton School’s Safety Office Team. This is a full year, 12-month position.
The shifts for this position are:
Friday 11:00 p.m. - Saturday 7:30 a.m.
Saturday 11:00 p.m. - Sunday 7:30 a.m.
In addition to an hourly rate, a 10% hourly shift differential is paid for these shifts.
Applicants must possess a valid and unencumbered Massachusetts driver’s license, a Massachusetts Class “A” firearms permit and First Responder/CPR training. The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-hire occupational physical.
Candidates will have a positive attitude with very good interpersonal skills for performing work duties among students, faculty, staff and guests on campus.
Snow shoveling and occasional heavy lifting is required.
This position requires police training or correctional officer training.
