We are looking for a Safety & Fleet Manager to join our team in Sykesville, MD
We are looking for an experienced & take charge individual to manage the safety aspects of our company operations inclusive of managing our fleet of vehicles. This position will be directly accountable for developing and executing programs that meet federal, state, and local laws and safety regulations, complying with Company policies and programs and supporting business strategies.
Candidates must be familiar with all related OSHA standards and requirements. The duties of this position will involve regular jobsite visits to monitor and enforce jobsite safety as well as taking the lead in the event of any safety incidents/accidents.
The Safety Officer & Fleet Manager position is directly responsible for the overall company fleet safety and regulatory compliance. This includes the responsibility for managing, coordinating and overseeing implementation of all safety and compliance programs and processes for our company vehicles. Some examples would be maintenance of our fleet of vehicles - monitoring repair work orders, maintaining compliance with insurance, state registrations, employee training and other requirements.
This position will work closely with the leadership of the company to meet and exceed all Safety goals and commitments and will report to the Director of Contracts and Compliance.
