We’re looking for a
Safety Supervisor to join our
Day & Zimmermann team located in
Stanton, TN. This position's expected duration is until mid-January, 2025.
As a Safety Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and visitors onsite. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols and procedures in accordance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, federal, state, and local laws, as well as client and company policies and procedures. This position will serve as a resource for line management to develop and administer a proactive prevention program for accidents and illnesses.
As the Safety Supervisor here’s the work you’ll do:
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols and procedures in accordance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, federal, state, and local laws, as well as client and company policies and procedures
- Serve as a resource for line management to develop and administer a proactive prevention program for accidents and illnesses
This role is for you if you have these skills:
- Proven experience working in a safety-related role, preferably on a multi-contractor construction site, or similar environment.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices pertaining to construction sites and industrial operations.
- Strong understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in conducting safety training sessions and creating educational materials.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, driving a culture of safety excellence.
- Familiarity with relevant software applications and tools for safety management and reporting.
- Background in piping systems and related welding processes for installation.

- Minimum requirements include Associates degree in related field of study or equal years of related work experience in a Construction environment
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $54,000 - $154,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
