Job description
We are seeking a Senior Electronic Technician to join our team and play a vital role in assembling, testing, and repairing PCBA's and electronic devices. In this position, you will be responsible for testing product performance, analyzing and reporting on results. Your expertise in using various hand and power tools to calibrate and configure products will be crucial. If you possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good manual dexterity, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and configure electronic devices.
- Test product functionality and analyze data.
- Identify and repair malfunctions in circuitry and other product components.
- Read and comprehend electronic schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Update reports and maintain inventory of electronic components.
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals on technical tasks.
- Use various tools, including multimeters, to build and repair systems.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree in a related field (Preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in electronics testing and soldering. Proficiency in reading schematics and mechanical drawings is essential.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with various test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and environmental chambers. Experience in soldering techniques.
- Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in assembling components and conducting tests.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and stay motivated in a fast-paced environment.
