Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Intake Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments to help identify the needs and strengths of our patients. This position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours, with in-office responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and strengths of each patient.
- Develop and implement individualized intake plans.
- Collaborate with mental health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and progress.
- Provide support and guidance to patients and their families during the intake process.
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience in conducting mental health assessments.
- Strong understanding of mental health principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
