Industrial Access Incis a multi-craft services contractor who provides design, inspection, maintenance and repair services to the industrial construction industry. Our design services include new steel structures, designed repairs and retrofits for Industrial stacks and ducts. We specialize in helping our clients maintain their hard-to-reach stacks, ductwork, vessels, cooling towers and other structures, utilizing rope access and other high-elevation work techniques. We regularly work with concrete, masonry, steel and fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), and carbon fiber for the power generation, pulp and paper, cement and heavy industrial and manufacturing sectors.
We are seeking an experienced Safety Director to direct, develop, and oversee our organization's health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with OSHA regulations, as well as state, local, and industry-specific standards. The Safety Director will conduct regular safety audits and implement programs to maintain a safe workplace, optimizing protocols for safety equipment, emergency preparedness, and occupational safety. Additionally, this role will establish a process for collecting and analyzing accident data, generating required reports, and driving initiatives to prevent accidents, occupational illnesses, and long-term health risks.
This is a fulltime, permanent position. Normal business hours for our office are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. However, this position will require travel, onsite visits, and after hours consultations. Therefore, hours and schedule will vary depending on position demands. This position requires 50% travel.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments
- Identify and address potential health and safety risks
- Develop and implement company-wide safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage job site inspections and safety protocols
- Maintain and optimize the safety protocol budget
- Address industrial hygiene issues with management and coworkers
Salary range is $110,000 - $116,000 per year plus up to $16,000 annual bonus

- Must be willing to travel 50%
- At least 3 years of experience as a Safety Director
- Expert knowledge of OSHA standards and practices
- Experience in writing safety procedures
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of safety and health hazards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
