Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate health and life insurance contracts to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals
- Manage vendor relationships by coordinating procurement activities and overseeing contractor onboarding processes
- Maintain accurate records of all contractual documents using document management systems such as Salesforce, PeopleSoft, or ERP platforms
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements including UCC law, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and other relevant compliance standards
- Conduct thorough contract reviews for legal soundness, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives
- Collaborate with legal teams to develop proposals, pricing strategies, and technical documentation for new contracts or amendments
- Support change management initiatives by updating contract terms and communicating modifications across relevant departments
- Utilize electronic signature platforms like DocuSign for efficient contract execution and approval processes
- Engage in research related to industry best practices, legal updates in intellectual property law, and emerging trends in healthcare regulations
- Assist in business development efforts by preparing strategic proposals that highlight value propositions and service offerings
Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, or contract administration within the insurance or healthcare industry
- Strong understanding of legal drafting, contract negotiation, and document review processes
- Familiarity with compliance management frameworks including UCC law and Federal Acquisition Regulations
- Proficiency with contract management software such as Salesforce, PeopleSoft, ERP systems, or similar platforms
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to develop strategic plans and proposals effectively
- Knowledge of technical writing for policy documents and pricing strategies is highly desirable
- Ability to manage records meticulously while supporting multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong research skills to stay current on industry regulations and legal developments in health insurance law
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
