Title: FCC Health and Safety Monitor Specialist
Reports to: Educational Director
General Summary:
Builds strength based relationships with affiliated providers to support them as needed and in particular with compliance with all network and OCFS/DOHMH regulations.
- Provide monthly visits to homes utilizing the DOE form Follow up on monitoring visits and support providers with strengths based coaching on corrective action plans.
- Document all providers’ visits and communication. (Tracking and documenting progress).
- Complete monthly OCFS website and track provider compliance “Dear Providers” letters and other communication for NY State regarding licensing.
- Assist with recruitment and family child care affiliation process for families and providers.
- Support the enrollment process of families including registration, intake, family assessment and ongoing support to families.
- Work with the family worker to provide community resources to families and providers.
- Support the network team in creating community partner resource guide for all providers and families.
- Support the network team with collaboration, implementation of workshops, special events and other network activities.
- Participate in FCC network staff meetings to collaborate in providers, families and coordinate services.
- Participate in network staff professional learning sessions.
- Support and provide updated information on families and providers.
- Complete other task assigned by the FCC Educational Director or FCC Network Director.

Required Duties (additional may be added at any time)
- Ensure enrollment and ratio compliance of each provider
- Provide reports as requested
- Complete all DOE Educational Specialist forms
- Update Tracker on a daily basis
- Complete action plan as needed- inform Educational Director and FCC director with follow up
- Responsible to collect all forms to ensure compliance of provider and families (all forms requested on tracker)
- Confirm compliance of OCFS tracker
Additional Requirements
· Training on nutrition, health and safety (5 HR Training)
Must have: − A minimum of an Associates Degree in Health science
salary Based on Experience.
Candidate: Must Live in QUEENS, NY
MUST: Have driver license and Vehicle
Hrs: 8am-6pm Mon-Friday
8am-5pm on site (5pm-6pm must be available by phone)
Must Be able to travel to providers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
