Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate QBHP to join our team. This role is essential in providing support and guidance to individuals facing various mental health challenges. The QBHP will work in a school based setting, utilizing evidence-based practices to assist clients in managing their conditions and improving their overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in mental health counseling and a strong commitment to helping others.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Engage in crisis management to address urgent client needs effectively.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in ongoing research initiatives aimed at improving behavioral health services.
Qualifications
- A degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
- Experience in mental health counseling, particularly with PTSD care and grief counseling.
- Strong skills in medical documentation and data collection methodologies.
- Knowledge of gender issues counseling is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work effectively in a clinical environment and manage crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
