About This Opportunity
WCMS is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide overnight PRN occupational health coverage at a manufacturing facility in Lafayette, Indiana.
This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys working independently, is confident in their clinical judgment, and has a strong background in emergency or acute care. During your shift, you will serve as the primary on-site medical resource, responding to work-related injuries and illnesses and supporting the facility’s safety and health efforts.
This position provides a consistent Saturday overnight shift and is intended to support vacation coverage and supplemental staffing needs.
Schedule
- Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 8 hours per week
- PRN, ongoing assignment
What You’ll Be Doing Clinical Care & Emergency Response
- Assess and treat work-related injuries and illnesses
- Respond to on-site medical situations and provide appropriate care
- Use sound clinical judgment to determine next steps or escalation when needed
Occupational Health Support
- Complete OSHA-required surveillance exams and documentation
- Assist with injury documentation and reporting
- Promote a culture of safety and wellness within the facility
Clinic Operations
- Work independently as the sole nurse on shift
- Maintain clinic organization, readiness, and accurate medical records
- Collaborate as needed with EHS, HR, safety, and production teams
What We’re Looking For
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 6+ years of nursing experience
- Emergency Room (ER) experience required
- Strong triage skills and confidence in emergency response
- Comfort working independently in an autonomous role
- Clear communication and solid documentation skills
Nice to Have
- Occupational health or industrial nursing experience
- Familiarity with OSHA surveillance and workplace injury management
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay: $48.00–$55.00 per hour (based on experience)

Work Environment
- On-site medical clinic within an active manufacturing facility
- Occasional response to production areas and factory floor
