Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic LMHC/LCSW therapist to join our dynamic mental health/SUD team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
- Implement motivational interviewing techniques to foster motivation for change and support recovery efforts.
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical records standards while maintaining confidentiality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, medical documentation, and behavioral health plans to optimize patient outcomes.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to addiction counseling
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Substance Use Disorder Therapist (LCSW or LMHC) with active state certification.
- Proven experience in clinical counseling/therapy within outpatient or inpatient settings
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health therapies including psychotherapeutic techniques such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, and trauma-informed care.
- Excellent crisis intervention skills combined with strong behavior management capabilities.
- Experience working with medical terminology and managing medical records securely under HIPAA guidelines.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
