Boeson Research provides patients and families in Montana with an opportunity to participate in clinical research trials for a wide variety of medical conditions. Area residents can access the latest in medical research without leaving home. Studies may include helping people with OCD, migraines, or improved infant formula, or enrolling prospective participants in an improved vaccine study.
Current Job Opening (Missoula): Clinical Research Coordinator
Working with our physician investigators, you will identify and engage potential study participants to determine their interest and eligibility in participating in clinical trials. You ensure that research protocols are carried out accurately through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation throughout the course of their participation on the study. On-the-job training that leads to career growth and development is provided.
Position Summary:
As a potential candidate you may have management, teaching, healthcare, or sales experience. You are a confident problem-solver who is comfortable working with our research team site on major industry-sponsored studies. With your strong interpersonal skills and your attention to detail you will maintain a high degree of integrity, confidentiality, and organization
Compensation/Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package; dependent upon experience. ($48,000-$58,000) + Bonus structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure research quality by practicing in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Manage your workload and work assignments
- Recruit and screen participants for eligibility for current studies based on established protocols
- Serve as primary contact for all Sponsors and Vendors
- Networking in the community to build referral sources and relationships with outlying medical facilities
- Serves as a liaison to physicians, investigators, participants, and other staff members regarding the research process and individual protocols
- Problem-solve varied solutions that require significant analysis or interpretation and investigative solutions
- Escalates issues as needed to Director of Clinical Research
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree or 4 years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree. You may be wondering if this is for you. Please give us a call and come see what we do on a day-to-day basis.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) / Google Docs
- Have a genuine passion for educating your community about options in healthcare.
- Comfortable with technology - computer skills are mandatory for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building, managing, and guiding individual(s) and/or a team strongly preferred
Required Skills
- Strong critical thinking, proactive problem solver
- Excellent oral and written communication. Ability to present in front of small groups
Preferred Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in related field (MA, CNA, LPN)
- Working knowledge of research methodology/medical terminology
- Phlebotomy / Vaccine Administration a plus but not necessary
