Overview
YellowBird is seeking qualified Safety Professionals to complete fire extinguisher inspections for a large national client. This is a contract-based opportunity with flexible scheduling and recurring work available across the United States. Responsibilities
- Perform on-site fire extinguisher inspections in accordance with NFPA and OSHA requirements
- Verify proper placement, accessibility, pressure, condition, and tagging of fire extinguishers
- Identify deficiencies and document findings accurately
- Complete required inspection documentation and submit reports through YellowBird’s platform
- Communicate professionally with on-site client contacts as needed
Qualifications
- Experience performing fire extinguisher inspections or related EHS compliance work
- Knowledge of NFPA 10 and applicable OSHA standards
- Relevant safety certifications preferred (OSHA 10/30, CSP, CHST, or equivalent)
- Ability to travel locally to assigned job sites
- Reliable transportation and ability to complete inspections independently
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
