Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Acupuncturist to join our Wellness Center team. The ideal candidate will provide holistic patient care through acupuncture and related therapies, focusing on pain management, injury recovery, and overall wellness. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physiology knowledge
- Perform acupuncture procedures utilizing aseptic techniques to ensure safety and hygiene
- Apply trigger point therapy and other adjunctive modalities for acute pain management and injury rehabilitation
- Educate clients on treatment options, expected outcomes, and self-care practices
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and medical terminology compliance
- Ensure a safe clinical environment adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Stay current with advancements in acupuncture techniques, pain management strategies, and relevant medical research
Experience
- Valid license as a Licensed Acupuncturist with certification in CPR (CPR Certification) and Basic Life Support (BLS Certification)
- Proven experience in patient service, patient care, and performing physical examinations within an acupuncture or integrative medicine setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical -- relevant to acupuncture practice
- Skilled in acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
- Familiarity with aseptic technique to prevent infection during procedures
- Prior experience assessing patients’ conditions through detailed evaluations and providing effective treatment plans is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients about their treatment options and foster a supportive environment

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
