C & J Equipment Manufacturing is a full-service fabrication company established in 1978. C&J has an immediate opening for a Safety Coordinator in Bloomfield, NM. This position is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of safety initiatives. The successful candidate will:
- Promote and support the overall health and safety of employees and the work environment
- Deliver weekly and monthly safety meetings and materials, oversee the compliance of tailgate meetings, and maintain associated documentation
- Conduct safety orientation for new hires
- Conduct facility audits on a regular basis to ensure compliance
- Maintain state, federal, and company regulatory records and OSHA 300 reports
- Work diligently to implement risk prevention training and techniques
Qualifications:
· Experience with workplace safety strategies
· Knowledge of OSHA regulations and recording requirements
· Knowledge of how to conduct workplace investigations timely and according to all applicable policies and regulations
· Computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly
· Ability to think critically and make decisions objectively and logically
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Pay is dependent upon experience.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
