Altus Fire & Life Safety Company d/b/a Fire Systems Inc, located in Dartmouth, MA is looking for a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter to join our team! The Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter is primarily responsible for installing and servicing fire protection systems.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Install, service, inspect, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
Diagnose and troubleshoot deficiencies in fire sprinkler systems.
Conduct regular system tests and inspections to verify operational reliability and code compliance.
Professionally interact with customers on-site and provide excellent service.
Coordinate with office staff regarding scheduling, job status updates, and emergency service requests.
Accurately complete all required service reports, work orders, and documentation in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable codes during all fieldwork.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
5+ years’ experience installing, servicing, testing and maintaining various types of fire sprinkler systems.
Current Fire Sprinkler Journeyman’s license in Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island.
Experience installing fire pumps, dry systems, steel & CVPC systems.
Experience reading blueprints and have a working knowledge of all other components of a fire sprinkler system.
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour
