Safety Advisor Engineer – Professional Engineer (P.E.)
Location: Remote (with 30–50% travel across North America)

Must-Haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Structural, Civil, or related field)
Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
Minimum 5 years of industrial or manufacturing experience
Proven expertise in at least one area: fall protection, structural safety, robotics/automation, machine guarding, or lockout/tagout
Strong technical communication skills to advise plant managers, engineers, and safety teams
Willingness to travel 30–50% across North America

We’re seeking a senior-level safety engineer to step into a highly visible, high-impact role. This is not a compliance-check position—you’ll be the trusted technical advisor that plant leaders turn to when they need engineering-level safety solutions. You’ll apply deep expertise in design, safety reviews, and systems engineering to ensure risk is eliminated before it becomes a problem.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one core area, with opportunities to expand expertise
Provide engineering reviews and sign off on designs for structural and fall protection systems, catwalks, and facility upgrades
Advise on automation, robotics safety, machine guarding, and lockout/tagout
Partner with operations and capital project teams to ensure safety is built in from the design phase
Serve as an on-call technical advisor for safety and engineering leaders across multiple sites
Travel to facilities (30–50%) for direct support, reviews, and collaboration with plant teams
