GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
Develops and implements Trainee Employee Assistance Program, which includes assessment, intervention, counseling, relapse prevention and education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university preferred, or an equivalent
combination of education and training.
Experience: One to two years of related experience and/or training.
Days: Monday – Friday
Job Description:
- Assists in developing center operating procedures for program components related to alcohol and other drug testing and intervention
- Develops and monitors student intervention plans and documents progress in the students’ health record.
- Conducts ongoing counseling and support groups to include an introduction to the self-help process for intervention students.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATIONS:
Certification from a state or national credentialing board for drug and/or alcohol counseling.
A valid Driver’s License is required.
