Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly washed and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting the overall food service operations, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Support banquet operations by ensuring that all serving items are clean and ready for use.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Help with inventory management by organizing and restocking supplies as necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food service operations, including catering and banquet experience, is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is beneficial.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining a sanitary workspace.
