Position Summary:
The Behavioral Health Provider (BHP) will deliver integrated behavioral health services in a school-based setting in Burnsville, NC, supporting Yancey County students and families through evidence-based practices. This role is ideal for a passionate professional who values collaboration, cultural competency, and making a tangible impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnoses using clinical tools and interviews.
- Develop and implement treatment plans with students and families.
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency services in collaboration with schools.
- Offer consultation to families, schools, and community agencies.
- Document visits and maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
- Participate in care team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work or counseling with a current North Carolina LCSW or LPC license.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in behavioral health.
- Experience with EHR systems and evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Spanish language skills preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to multiple locations.

Sign On Bonus!
We are pleased to offer a sign-on bonus of $3,000. This bonus will be distributed in two equal installments: the first after 90 days of continuous employment and the second after 180 days.
